Pollença is located at the northernmost point of the Serra de Tramuntana and is surrounded by a variety of landscapes.

The old town of Pollença with its winding alleyways and imposing houses are evidence that the inhabitants of earlier eras did not have to suffer from poverty.

The town’s landmarks are the 365 steps and the Calvary, at the top of which is the small baroque pilgrimage chapel from the 18th century. Each step symbolises a day of the year.
